Worm bins at Juneau trail heads? Why not?

There’s nothing like taking a walk on Alaska’s pristine wilderness. Unless you step in something — unexpected along the way. For parkgoers, what dogs leave behind on the trail can be a sensitive topic. Bob Deering thought worms might be a solution.

Unfortunately, maintaining bins is difficult because of the Alaskan climate and the project was discontinued.
